Lin Beichen shook his head and sighed, "It's important for one to have self-awareness, but unfortunately, you don't."
He paused and continued, "But I'm a kind person, so I'm willing to give you a chance to change. Kneel down and beg for my forgiveness."
"Hahaha!" Wang Bing laughed as if he had heard a joke, "You want me to kneel to you? What a huge joke! My family is in construction, you know? With just one call, I can summon dozens, even hundreds of people. Do you believe it? What right do you have to make me kneel to you?" He arrogantly looked at Lin Beichen as if he were looking at an inconsequential clown, "You're just a measly nobody from who knows where!"
The surrounding spectators were also drawn to the scene, watching and gossiping, full of envy, jealousy, and resentment towards Wang Bing's arrogance.
As for Lin Beichen, they spared no effort in ridiculing him, as if they were like Wang Bing themselves.
However, these murmurs didn't affect Lin Beichen; he still stood there calmly, watching Wang Bing as if observing a clown's performance.
At this moment, Wang Bing displayed deep arrogance, looking down at Lin Beichen as if he were a god descending to the mortal world. He haughtily commanded, "Did you hear? Someone as insignificant as you, standing next to Wu Zhihe, is like comparing manure to flowers.
Look at your poor appearance. Besides your looks, what else do you have worth praising? What gives you the right to undermine me? Even though I don't care much about this proposition, it's not something you can easily touch.
If you want to live, kneel before me quickly and lick my..."
Before he finished speaking, Wang Bing suddenly let out a scream—it was Lin Beichen who had resolutely slapped him hard across the face.
Wang Bing's cheeks instantly swelled red, and he pointed at Lin Beichen in astonishment, seemingly unable to believe this ordinary-looking young man had dared to raise a hand against him.
There was a dead silence all around, as everyone stared wide-eyed, watching this scene, unable to believe their eyes. Someone exclaimed, recognizing Wang Bing's identity.
"Oh my God, isn't this the son of the president of World Real Estate, Wang Bing?"
"What? The one who got hit is the young master of World Real Estate, the company that claims to make everyone in Port City have a house?"
The crowd quickly pulled out their phones to verify, and indeed, this rich kid arguing in the street and getting slapped was really Wang Bing from World Real Estate.
The spectators suddenly got excited, not expecting to witness such a live show.
Looking at Lin Beichen, their eyes couldn't help but carry a bit of pity.
In their view, Lin Beichen, this ordinary-looking young man, dared to lay hands on the young master of World Real Estate—he was as good as doomed.
Wang Bing stared aggressively at Lin Beichen, roaring, "My father is the president of World Real Estate. The wealth of my family is unimaginable to a small figure like you. With one word, tonight your corpse will be floating in the open sea. Kneel down and apologize to me immediately, or I'll make you wish you were dead."
However, Lin Beichen merely tilted his head, rubbed his chin, and said blankly, "The president of World Real Estate? What's that supposed to mean?" Then he shrugged, "Oh well, whatever it is, if he raised a son like you, he can't be anything good. If he dares to trouble me, I don't mind offering him a pair of silver bracelets."
Saying this, he raised a hand and punched Wang Bing in the chest. Wang Bing flew over a dozen meters away, heavily hitting a pine tree. The pine tree snapped, and Wang Bing lay on the ground, covered in blood, in a miserable state.
This scene left the spectators completely stunned, their eyes wide open as if witnessing something unbelievable. They started to question their reality, questioning the world itself.
As Wang Bing stood up amid the shock of everyone, trembling, he pointed at Lin Beichen, roaring, "I will kill you, I will kill you." Yet his roar seemed so powerless, so laughable.
At this moment, the roar of car engines abruptly sounded, and a stretch limousine stopped in front of the crowd.
The door opened, and a group of burly men poured out of the car. They were dressed in uniform black suits, looking well-trained.
However, facing such a formation, Lin Beichen merely laughed coldly, seemingly indifferent.
He grasped Wang Bing's neck with one hand, lifting him up, saying lightly, "It seems you still don't recognize your situation." Then, like swatting a fly, he slapped Wang Bing's face. Wang Bing's other cheek quickly swelled red, and he sat back down on the ground.
At this point, a young man wearing glasses came out from another car.
Seeing Wang Bing's miserable state, he was startled, quickly rushing to Wang Bing's side to help him up, saying nervously, "I'm sorry, Young Master Wang, we came late and caused you such grievance."
But his heart was filled with fear, knowing Wang Bing's rank and status in Port City couldn't be offended.
And now Wang Bing had been beaten like this, which made him feel sheer terror and unease.
That clueless guy, doesn't he understand what consequences such actions will bring?
Wang Bing glared angrily at the manager, Pan, shouting, "Manager Pan, how are you managing things? I was almost assaulted, and you arrived just now? Do you still plan to keep this job?"
He pointed his trembling finger at Lin Beichen, his voice filled with fury, "If you want to keep your position as manager, teach this guy a harsh lesson. I want to see every bone in his body crushed!"
Manager Pan immediately obliged, knowing the most important thing was to appease Wang Bing's anger now.
However, when he saw Lin Beichen's face clearly, his expression turned pale instantly, his whole body trembling like a sieve. He stared wide-eyed at the composed Lin Beichen, fear flooding him like a tide.
Suddenly recalling the boss's stern warning, his legs gave way, and he collapsed to his knees with a thud.
Under everyone's astonished gazes, he crawled like a puppy to Lin Beichen, bowing repeatedly until blood streamed down his forehead.
"Mr. Lin, it was my mistake not recognizing you immediately, please spare me!" he begged loudly.
The entire street was dumbfounded, especially those sturdy men brought by Manager Pan—they looked at each other in confusion, completely baffled by the situation.
Seeing this, Wang Bing's blood pressure soared; he yelled at Manager Pan, "Have you lost your mind? I told you to seize this guy, not to disgrace yourself here!"
Manager Pan turned around, crawling to Wang Bing's side to explain, "Young Master Wang, I'm helping you here. This man is not ordinary; the boss specifically told us not to offend him."
Wang Bing's expression changed; he stared at Manager Pan, trying to discern the truth from his eyes. Thinking of Lin Beichen's remarkable skills, his heart started feeling uneasy.
However, he still stubbornly demanded Manager Pan to act. Manager Pan, under Wang Bing's pressure, had no choice but to reluctantly command his men to proceed.
A dozen burly men surrounded Lin Beichen; their towering statures and bulging muscles exerted a strong sense of oppression. However, Lin Beichen appeared fearless, calmly looking at these men.
Just as everyone thought Lin Beichen was cornered, he suddenly took a step forward, throwing a fierce punch. The foremost burly man flew away without even a groan.
The scene that followed left everyone even more bewildered, as Lin Beichen moved like a phantom amongst the men, each punch striking their vital spots precisely.
